Welcome to my first real post here at Guy With A Guitar. I Have chosen to cover the beautiful acoustic song ‘The Animals Were Gone by Damien Rice’ and to show how simple it is to play it.

Damien Rice is one of my favorite composers, the Irish Singer/songwriter wrote this song back in 2006 but the simplicity and strange beauty really make it a song that stands out and strums at the heart strings of oh so many acoustic fans out there.

I will soon be uploading an introduction to Guy With A Guitar. But for now i will post a recent video teaching how to do a simple guitar spin. I had was trying to learn how to spin my guitar to look marginally more awesome on stage but couldn’t find a basic tutorial on how to do it and how to practice. So i hope this short video is a nice idea of what to expect in the videos to come.
